At St. Elizabeth’s there are multiple ways for adults to deepen their faith, discuss with others faith-based topics, and build community in small groups. Below are some of our Adult Education opportunities.

Before our 10:30 am service, our adults meet in the Adult Ed room for a Sunday School discussion. In the group we read scriptures, do book studies and fellowship together over cofee.

Lectionary Lunch aka Preach Prep with Fr. Brett: Tuesday’s at 12:30 pm during the school year.

On Tuesday’s, a group gathers over Zoom for lunch and reads over the gospel reading for the coming Sunday. Over lunch, folks are invited to discuss the reading and think about how it applies to their life. Fr. Brett leads this weekly group.

Lectio Divina or “Divine Reading” is an ancient Benedictine spiritual practice of meditation and prayer over a specific piece of scripture. Fr. Brett leads this group on Wednesday evening’s where a piece a scripture is read in this contemplative manner. For more information, contact Fr. Brett.
